Hurtigruten ships are amongst the most important means of transportation along Norway’s twisting, rugged coastline for locals and visitors alike. This unique voyage carries passengers and supplies to over 30 ports with a ship departing from Bergen virtually every day of the year. The Hurtigruten ships travel north across the Arctic Circle and beyond as they weave in and out of narrow inlets and fjords, sailing along some of the world's most beautiful coastline, nearly always in sight of land.

As with the scenery en route, it is the sheer variety of sights, sounds, smells and surprises you experience which makes a Norwegian coastal voyage such a delight! Many of the ports of call along the way are little more than tranquil hamlets on tiny islands. Others are long established, bustling towns, owing their prosperity to the fishing, mining or shipbuilding industries, offering shore based excursions and activities.

Select your preferred voyage from Hurtigruten's Winter 2013 brochure and Project Travel will arrange the entire package for you, conveniently priced in Euro, including flights from Ireland plus any required extra nights pre- or post-voyage to allow for airline schedules and/or extending your visit to Norway.

According to astronomers, Winter 2013 should be one of the best in terms of Northern Lights displays!
The best value and best chance of seeing the Northern Lights is on the 11 night Round Voyage itinerary as you spend more than 5 nights above the Arctic Circle. You can also opt for the 6 night Voyage North along Norway's western seaboard from Bergen to Kirkenes or the 5 night Voyage South. All voyages are priced on a full-board basis.

The prices shown for the Hurtigruten Norwegian Coastal Voyage packages are for the Classic 11 night Round Trip and 6 night voyage north. The 5 night voyage south may be priced on request. All packages shown are based on full brochure prices and include:

• Return flights from Dublin to Bergen, including known taxes and fuel surcharges.
• 1 night B&B accommodation pre-voyage in a 3* star hotelin Bergen.
• 6 or 11 night full board voyage in the cabin of your choice.
• 1 night B&B accommodation post-voyage in a 3* hotel in Bergen.
