US Visa Waiver SchemeInstead of filling in the green application form at the airport Irish citizens visiting the USA now have to complete an application on-line in advance of travel. It is recommended you do this at least 72 hours before travelling. If you fail to obtain on-line clearance in advance you will be denied boarding. Once accepted your details are valid for 2 years and you only have to update your US destination information before each trip. We recommend you print out a copy of your authorisation and keep it with your passport. |
